To disable windows defender temporarily, follow these simple steps to make sure you’re doing it properly
Go in your windows search bar > type Windows Security and open Windows Security app, it should looks like that
Click on Virus & Threat protection in Windows Security app, you should end up here
Then click on Manage settings in Virus & threat protection settings part
make sure everything is unticked like on linked screenshot above
To disable windows defender permanently, download DefenderControl from here: https://mega.nz/file/A7VhgBSL#S9m-VeDB0cMAP0sugYye6HKtyWX-Y0R7XY93eQt4qBI once done, extract DefenderControl folder on your desktop ( you might prefer using an app like 7zip or winrar ), then open DefenderControl.exe, it should look like on the screenshot below
If everything match like on linked screenshot, click on Disable Windows Defender, if done properly it should look like this
